FIRST Cafe is located within LAST Modern Event Venue and it is our greatest desire to be your FIRST and LAST stop of the day. Through our cafe, it is our mission to connect and create community presence with our downtown residents, neighbouring businesses, and support local.
Our cafe and venue is dog friendly and we can open our garage door to welcome you to our space as weather permits in the Spring and Summer months. Our menu will also have rotating pastries to support local bakers in Edmonton and area. We are also the first venue with an in-house cafe servicing our wedding and event clients.

Event Bookings
Our cafe and front of house space can be booked out privately for your event on weekdays/nights as with selected weekends. We have two different rate options for you to consider depending on your capacity and event vision. The rest of LAST will be sectioned off if you are booking our front of house spaces only.
Cafe Space Only
Our cafe space includes the entry area, feminine and masculine theme washrooms, accessble washroom, as with our cafe area. This area would be best suited for a capacity of up to 30 guests. We would recommend it for intimate networking, workshops, baby/bridal showers, as well as social events.
Rate: $425+gst for 3 consecutive hours
Includes: existing decor and cafe furniture
Add ons: Cafe or bar services as desired, additional tables/linens and seating as needed
Cafe + Patio Space
Our cafe and patio space would included everything above in addition to the garage door opening and patio space. This would allow for a capacity of up to 70 guests and would be suitable for parties with an indoor/outdoor flow as with additional space for social events.
Rate: $625+gst for 3 consecutive hours
Includes: existing decor and cafe furniture, future patio furniture
Add ons: Cafe or bar services as desired, additional tables/linens and seating as needed
You’re welcome to bring in any professional and licensed caterer or restaurant of your choice for both of these options.

Our beans are locally roasted from Roasti Coffee Co. in Sherwood Park and we would love to extend a heartfelt thank you to their amazing team for providing their knowledge, insight, and barista training to our team.

Absolutely! We are dog friendly and welcome all dogs on a leash!
We have ample paid street parking operated by Epark or nearby lots operated by Indigo and Impark.
Definitely! Please inquire for details as we are able to proceed with everything on a host bill or charge guests on consumption.
Unfortunately our cafe is first come first serve unless you have booked out the whole cafe for your event privately.
